1. The subject of this contract is the service of performing the function of Contract and Technical Assistance Engineer for the implementation of project No 2008/PL/PWiK/TI/3-08/X co-financed by the Cohesion Fund of the OP.
Infrastructure and Environment.
Measure 1.1 Water and wastewater management in agglomerations of more than 15 thousand. P.e.: “Urban modernisation.
The WWTP and the construction of the sanitary sewerage system in Gniezno’.
2. Estimated cost of construction works for the project as a whole: PLN 49 264 839,80 net, i.e. EUR 12 832 727,22
3. The project comprises three tasks:
Activity 1 – Modernisation of the Urban Waste Water Treatment Plant at ul. Water 20 in Gniezno.
Activity 2 – Construction of a sanitary sewerage system for the Pławnik and Przylesa settlements in Gniezno.
Activity 3 – Contract Engineer (for tasks 1 and 2) and Technical Assistance to the Contracting Authority.
4. Anticipated Notification Period in Work Contract – 12 months.
5. Expected dates of the Tasks
Task 1 – January 2011 – February 2014 – construction works;
Task 2 – September 2011 – December 2012 – implementation of sanitary sewerage.
Task 3 – January 2011 – July 2014 – Project management and administration (Contract Engineer) plus settlement.
Project and Final Report (Contract Engineer) – March 2011 – July 2014.
6. Assumptions:
Task No 1 – Contract carried out in accordance with the so-called FIDIC ‘red book’, i.e. ‘Contract conditions for Construction for civil engineering works designed by the Contracting Authority’ (translation of the first edition in English in 1999, fourth unaltered English-Polish edition 2008),
Task No 2 – Contract carried out in accordance with the so-called FIDIC “Yellow Book”, i.e. ‘Contract conditions for equipment and design and construction for electrical and mechanical equipment and engineering and construction works designed by the Contractor’ (translation of the first edition in English in 1999, 4th English-Polish edition 2008 with errata).
7. The contracting authority shall have the following documents necessary for the performance of the above-mentioned tasks:
1/for Task 1: Construction and construction design and construction permits (separately for the modernisation of the mechanical and biological parts of the plant) – in paper and electronic form,
8. The contracting authority will place at the disposal of the selected Engineer 1 copy of the documentation in its possession for the implementation of the project.
9. A detailed description of the subject-matter of the contract (the tasks of the Engineer and Technical Assistance) is set out in Part III of the ToR.
