Description

CPV: 30.21.31.00-6 (portable computers).
1. The subject of the contract is the purchase and supply of portable computers to the premises of the Contracting Authority, ul. New World 6/12, 00-400 Warsaw and performance of service and guarantee services.
2. A detailed description of the subject-matter of the contract (quantity, minimum technical characteristics required for portable computers) is set out in Annexes 1a – partial task 1, 1b – partial task No 2 and 1c – partial task No 3 to the tender form.
3. The purpose of the procedure for the purchase and supply of portable computers is to expand the existing hardware infrastructure at the workstation layer of the contracting authority. The Contracting Authority’s identification of a specific operating system in Annexes 1a, 1b and 1c to the ToR took place after analysing the operating systems available to end-users’ computers. The selection of a specific operating system for the client station layer is dictated by the functional requirements of the Contracting Authority’s core production systems supporting the operation of the Common Agricultural Policy mechanisms operating under Windows, as well as the dozen applications previously purchased and still in use to support the tasks of the Contracting Authority, which, according to the Contracting Authority’s knowledge, do not have versions for systems other than Microsoft Windows XP/VISTA/7. In addition, the Procurer holds Microsoft Office software licenses dedicated to Microsoft Windows and Symantec Antivirus antivirus software also with Microsoft Windows licences.
