Poland-Lublin: Network equipment
1. The subject of the contract is the extension and modernisation of the network and server infrastructure at the Catholic University of Lubelskie, Jan Pawła II.
2. Detailed description of the technical parameters and requirements of the Contracting Authority for each
the appliances/equipment forming the subject-matter of the contract are set out in Annexes 1.1-1.3 to the ToR.
Where the procurement of Lot 1 and Lot 2 of the procedure includes the computer equipment referred to in Annex 8 to the VAT Act of 11.3.2004 (Journal of Laws Journal of Laws 2011, No 177, item 1054 – as amended) The contracting authority reserves the right to apply
a 0 % VAT rate in accordance with Article 83(1). Article 1(26)(a) of that law, provided that it has been obtained
consent given by the Minister for Science and Higher Education. The contracting authority shall notify the Contractor in writing of the authorisation granted by the Minister for Science and Higher Education on the basis of which the Contractor will be required to issue an invoice with the applicable Vat rate.
2. Partial tenders
The contracting authority shall allow sub-tenders of 3 lots to be submitted. Each part will be evaluated
separately. The contractor may submit a tender for one, two or all lots.
Part 1 Extension and upgrading of network infrastructure.
A detailed description of the technical parameters and requirements of the Contracting Authority is set out in Annex 1.1 to the ToR.
Part 2 Extension and upgrading of server infrastructure.
A detailed description of the technical parameters and requirements of the Contracting Authority is set out in Annex 1.2 to the ToR.
Part 3 Supply of 1Gb network switches to IBM BladeCenter E infrastructure.
