Description

The rural district of Munich, as the main partner of the project promoter community ‘NaturErholung Isartal im Süd von München’, intends to permanently mitigate conflicts of interest between nature conservation and recreational use in Isartal as part of a three-year nature conservation project supported by the Bavarian Nature Conservation Fund.
The deliverables can be broken down into the following tasks:
— Project management/management and management, management and moderation of the stakeholders’ meeting (tax group) and project working group,
— – development of a technically sound and coordinated nature and socially acceptable visitors’ steering and zoning concept, in particular with the main target groups Mountain-Biker and Trailrunner, as well as those directly or indirectly affected (e.g. landowners, municipalities),
— Development of an overall approach to public relations and environmental education, information and awareness-raising for visitors and users, with particular emphasis on the two target groups mentioned above,
— Public relations and environmental education aimed at stakeholders, the public and the press/TV,
— nature conservation training and coaching of instructors from the cycling sports associations involved as multipliers,
— Guidance on the development of a monitoring plan for the development of areas.
