Medications should: - meet, by applicability, the requirements of the Medicinal Products in Human Medicine Act, the Medical Devices Act and other related normative acts; - hold, where applicable, a valid national marketing authorisation or a registration certificate issued under the ZLPHM or under Regulation (EC) No 726/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council and subject to the requirements of Regulation (EC) No 1901/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 December 2006 on medicinal products for paediatric use and amending Regulation (EEC) No 1768/92, Directive 2001/20/EC, Directive 2001/83/EC and Regulation (EC) No 726/2004, hereinafter "Regulation (EC) No 1901/2006", and of Regulation (EC) No 1394/2007 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 November 2007 on advanced therapy medicinal products and amending Directive 2001/83/EC and Regulation (EC) No 726/2004 (OJ L 324/121 of 10 December 2007); - have a shelf life of not less than 40 % of that stated by the manufacturer on the date of each delivery. The delivery of medicines is made after a request submitted by the contracting authority or a person authorized by him, and the time limit for each individual delivery should be made within 7 calendar days after receipt of the request from the medical institution. The application shall be submitted by telephone /in case of emergency/, in writing or e-mail. The individual deliveries will be carried out on a working day, during the working hours from 8:00 to 16:00, at the hospital pharmacy of MHAT ‘Dr Stefan Cherkezov’ EOOD, Veliko Tarnovo, ul. ‘Nish’ No 1; Medications shall be delivered in appropriate packaging so as to ensure protection from external influences and damage during transport and delivery to the place of delivery indicated by the contracting authority.
