Description

This contract is part of the procurement procedure for a framework contract for the supply, installation, commissioning and management of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles at AZ Groeninge’s sites. The client wishes complete unburdening of the charging infrastructure. This means that the full operation, maintenance and invoicing must be taken care of by the contractor. Project location: - Mainly the site campus Kennedylaan (President Kennedylaan 4, 8500 Kortrijk) and by extension also possibly Parking Notenhof (located in the vicinity of the campus Kennedylaan) - Possibility to expand later on campus St. Jozef Izegem The essence of the assignment is the delivery and management of charging infrastructure including the connection to existing cabling, the cabling is provided for in a secondary contract. It is provisionally proposed to provide 120 charging points with 11kW within 4 years. The purpose of the charging infrastructure is to charge passenger cars. In addition, the charging infrastructure aims (at a later stage): - Increasing self-sufficiency on the site: by using smart control, the client wishes to consume as much solar power as possible. - Anticipating opportunities on the spot market, via the EMS system, the power of the charging plaza can be controlled in function of the spot market prices. - Peak shaving: there are many large consumers on the site (mainly chillers). The smart control of the charging square will be used to absorb the peak in consumption and thus reduce our monthly power peak in electricity consumption.
