Description

The subject of this public contract is the supply of personal protective equipment for employees of the Prague Castle Administration based on the current needs of the contracting authority for the duration of the contractual relationship. The need for the contracting authority to provide personal protective equipment arises in particular from the obligations laid down in Section 104 of Act No 262/2006, the Labour Code, as amended, Act No 309/2006, which regulates other requirements for occupational health and safety in employment relationships and on ensuring health protection in activities or the provision of services outside employment relationships (the Act on ensuring other conditions for health and safety at work), as amended, and Government Regulation No 390/2021, on detailed conditions for the provision of personal protective equipment, washing, cleaning and disinfection products, and, where appropriate, other related legal regulations. The contracting authority is obliged to provide its employees with personal protective equipment (PPE) in order to ensure that they are protected from risks, that their health is not endangered and that they are not prevented in any way from performing their work. The contracting authority, within the meaning of Paragraph 35 in conjunction with Paragraph 101 of the ZZVZ, divided the public contract into two parts, as follows: Part 1. – Clothing and accessories Part 2. – Protective footwear Participants are free to submit their tenders for any of the lots listed in the public contract or to submit a single tender for both lots at the same time. The participant shall indicate in the cover sheet for the tender (Annex 1 to the ZD) in which parts of the contract it submits its tender. In the context of that tendering procedure, a single framework agreement for a period of 48 months within the meaning of Paragraph 131 et seq. shall be concluded for each lot of the contract. A PPA with one selected contractor whose tender meets all the requirements laid down by law and by the contracting authority in the tender documentation for a given part of the public contract and ranks first in that part on the basis of the evaluation carried out. The contracting authority/entity shall envisage the conclusion of a framework agreement with a single contractor for each lot from the date on which the framework agreement signed takes effect for a period of 48 months or until the threshold for that lot is exhausted, whichever is the earlier. The total estimated value of this public contract for both parts, including reserved changes of commitments, is CZK 11 500 000 (in words: eleven million five hundred thousand Czech crowns) excluding VAT. Part 1. – Clothing and accessories The estimated value of the framework agreement for the entire subject of performance of the contract in Lot 1 is CZK 7 400 000 (in words: seven million four hundred thousand Czech crowns) excluding VAT. The estimated value of the reserved change of the obligation from the contract (or from the framework agreement) in part 1 of the public contract d is CZK 300,000 (in words: three hundred thousand Czech crowns) excluding VAT. The total estimated value of lot 1 of the contract, including the reserved modification of the commitment, is 7.700.000 (in words: seven million seven hundred thousand Czech crowns) excluding VAT. The estimated value of the framework agreement for the entire subject of performance of the public contract in Part 2 is CZK 3 600 000 (in words: three million six hundred thousand Czech crowns) excluding VAT. The estimated value of the reserved change of the commitment from the contract (or from the framework agreement) in part 2 of the public contract is CZK 200,000 (in words: two hundred thousand Czech crowns) excluding VAT. The total estimated value of lot 2 of the contract, including the reserved modification of the commitment, is 3.800.000 (in words: three million eight hundred thousand Czech crowns) excluding VAT. For more information on the conditions for reserved changes to commitments, please refer to the text of the tender specifications. The contracting authority also draws the attention of all suppliers to the fact that, in order to submit a tender in each of the lots of the public contract, it is necessary to submit samples of PPE according to the conditions specified in the text of the tender documentation. The time limit for submitting samples is the same as the time limit for submitting tenders for a given lot, but everything except samples (i.e. all the necessary documents) must be submitted in electronic form via an electronic tool. Documents or tenders submitted in physical form will not be taken into account and will not be included in the evaluation.
