At the beginning of 2025, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK, hereinafter referred to as "Client") will move into a new property in Berlin at Chausseestraße 23, 10115 Berlin. The new property comprises approximately 500 offices as well as co-working areas, workshop, conference and meeting rooms. The new equipment is based on a comprehensive furnishing concept that ensures a coherent overall picture of the new property. The furnishing concept also creates the conditions for a needs-based working environment, which, among other things, offers more flexibility and an offer for agile working methods and thus enables the implementation of the new spatial concept. For the equipment, the BMWK intends to purchase furniture that fits in the work areas of office, meeting, co-working and workshop – partly in addition to furniture from the existing stock.
