Description

In connection with the control of African swine fever (ASF) in the district of Darmstadt-Dieburg, services are awarded as a framework contract. In the course of assessing and containing the current epidemic of ASF, the regular search for wild boar carcasses in the already identified epidemic area is an elementary part. The aim of the tendered service is to monitor the areas affected by ASF at regular intervals and to identify both wild boar carcasses and live wild boar. Depending on the requirements, this should be carried out with drone flights or with cada test teams. The contractor must be able to provide, coordinate and document both options. In the case of detection of conspicuous wild boar, the killing should be carried out by drone-led and qualified collection teams. The installation of fixed fences is an effective means of limiting the disease area. The fixed fences on the motorways and the federal highway on the areas of the district of Darmstadt-Dieburg are to be controlled and documented at predetermined intervals using drones.
