Description

In view of a projected population growth of almost ten percent by 2030, DRK-Kliniken Berlin is expanding its oncological cross-sector campus in Berlin-Köpenick. In order to meet the high regional responsibility for care, the new training center Health & Care Köpenick (AGP) is being built in the listed building 10. The project creates 165 additional places in generalist nursing education and links theory and practice through state-of-the-art equipment - including its own skills lab - directly in one place. The construction project includes the conversion and restoration of the lower and raised ground floor with a gross floor area of around 970 square meters. A gross budget of around 4.92 million euros has been approved for implementation. The binding basis for all subsequent planning services is the Preliminary Planning Document (PRD) approved in November 2024. The special requirements for the measure are the conversion in the listed area as well as the implementation of the measure in the adjacent ongoing hospital operation.
