Description

Irish Rail are seeking to replace a transformer at our Dalkey Substation with an equivalent transformer that must have a design life of 30 years as a minimum. The proposed Transaction Transformer must meet the following requirements as a minimum. • The Transaction Transformer must run in parallel with the Transaction Transformer that is currently in situ as per technical specification • The transformer shall comply with the design, construction, testing and other requirements to the European standard EN 60076 or, IEC 60076 and IEC 60146. Class 6 • An earthed metal screen between high-voltage and low-voltage winding must be offered.
