Ziel der Erschließungsmaßnahme 3.BA ist die zukunftsweisende Versorgung der nordöstl. Bereiche des Hochschul- und Forschungsgeländes in Garching als Fortsetzung des im 2. BA erstellten zweizügigen begehbaren Bestandskanals. Zudem sind im Rahmen dieser Infrastrukturmaßnahme Spartenumverlegungsarbeiten zur Baufeldfreimachung für geplante Neubauten im Bereich Physik durchzuführen.
