Description

In the village Vorsfelde of the city of Wolfsburg, a new building area on an area of about 72 hectares is to be developed with the objective of climate quarters. The building area represents a new housing estate with a high degree of open space and close proximity to the centre under the urban integration of an existing weekend house area and the allotments. The existing allotments are to be partially replanned, the weekend house area completely to residential areas. The prerequisite for this is that the existing development is upgraded. The strong green character of the district is to be preserved and the existing road, road and water network integrated into the development of the entire district. A particular challenge is to preserve the existing old tree substance as far as possible.
