Note: Not all information for this procedure were successfully computed. Please consult linked documents for more details.
Rå Biopark shall build a biogas plant. The plant and construction site are in Storfjord municipality, in Skibotn, approximately two hours' drive from the city of Tromsø. The supplier that is awarded this design and build contract has a complete and overall responsibility to deliver a complete and well-functioning biogas plant according to the requirements specification and contract terms in this competition. This responsibility includes processes, machinery, equipment, technical support systems, technology and construction works necessary to produce liquid biogas as described in the specification. The supplier is responsible for delivering everything needed to make the biogas plant work. This includes, but is not limited to, the entire process from planning and engineering to construction and follow-up during the defect notification/complaint period. The Supplier is responsible for all engineering, materials, machinery and equipment needed to fulfil the Client's needs for a functioning biogas plant that meets all agreed requirements. The Supplier is also responsible for providing infrastructure at the construction site and building elements such as electricity and technical systems, pipes, water and sewage, control systems, odour management systems, fire alarm systems, etc. The supplier has full responsibility for the interface between all parts of the biogas plant that are relevant to the contract, including the building and construction work (the construction part). The Supplier shall be responsible for testing the plant, and follow-up during the complaint period, as well as training the Client's personnel to operate the plant. The supplier is encouraged to familiarise itself with the entire requirements specification (Appendix A) even if not all parts (lots/systems) apply to this EPC contract. The requirements specification is largely function-based, so it is up to the Supplier to find good solutions that fulfil the Client's described requirements and needs. The contract is based on the Norwegian standard contract NS 8407, which applies as general contractual provisions, with special provisions in addition.
