Description

The Federal Republic of Germany, represented by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, has transferred the performance of the Federal Government's tasks under Section 9a(3), first sentence, of the AtG for the construction, operation and decommissioning of facilities for the disposal of radioactive waste to the Bundesgesellschaft für Endespeicher mbH (BGE). In this function, BGE is the client and awards the delivery services listed below as part of the construction of the Konrad repository. For the construction of the radioactive waste repository at the former Konrad iron ore mine, two diesel-powered, near-series carrier vehicles will be procured for the underground transport of 11 people, including driver and passenger. Cars or trucks close to series production can be used as carrier vehicles. The carrier vehicles consist of 2 sub-assemblies. Assembly 1: Carrier vehicle assembly 2: Special body with 9 seats. The 9 seats must comply with Section 9 of the Noise Vibrations ArbSchV and must be installed behind the driver's cab of the carrier vehicle.
