Description

The subject-matter of the contract is the supply of 137 sets of special firefighter’s clothing, in accordance with the requirements of Annex 2 to the SWZ – description of the subject-matter of the contract. The clothes offered must be brand new, unused and not displayed at exhibitions or fairs, safe, complete and ready to use, and must meet the technical and functional requirements specified in Annex 2 to the CVT containing a detailed description of the subject of the contract. Due to the different sizes used by clothing manufacturers, the number of clothes in individual sizes will be given by the Ordering Party at the latest on the day of signing the contract. Clothes must have a valid certificate of approval issued by the Józef Tuliszkowski Scientific and Research Centre for Fire Protection, National Research Institute, EU type-assessment certificate confirming compliance with PN-EN 469 or equivalent. The design of the garment shall be a multi-layer layout ensuring that the requirements of harmonised standard EN 469:2021 performance level 2 are met. Other solutions in the field of structural layers are also possible, taking into account new technologies and material engineering, ensuring that the requirements set out in the above-mentioned standard are met. The design solutions used by manufacturers must not affect the external visible cut of clothing. The outer layer of the jacket and trousers should be a fabric with an oil- and waterproof finish in yellow in a shade of natural aramid. Construction fabrics of clothes and threads should be made of fibres whose flame-retardant characteristic (flame spread indicator level 3, test according to PN-EN ISO 15025) has been achieved by modifying their chemical structure. The use of fabrics and threads whose flame retardancy has been achieved by the use of flame retardants applied by spraying, immersion or other technologies shall be prohibited. The construction of a light jacket should be a system that guarantees compliance with the requirements set out in PN-EN 15614 or PN-EN 15384 The subject of the contract should meet the following requirements: (a)comply with all the characteristics set out in the SWZ; b) be brand new (not used) and comply with applicable standards.
