This market is part of the "Line Airport" (LAE) operation which aims to connect with a high level of performance the future Blagnac Metro station to Toulouse Blagnac airport in 7 minutes of travel time, with an interval of 5 minutes. This operation provides for the creation of an LAE terminus and an additional tram station on the T1 line within a multimodal exchange hub in Jean Maga, a modification of the Airport terminus station (falling of the station by about 16m to create in particular a forecourt in front of the terminal), as well as the upgrading of the infrastructure of the T2 tram, a tram section of about 2.5 km providing, from the Jean Maga junction, service to Toulouse Blagnac airport. The operation is broken down into 11 lots.
