The work includes the renovation of 4 bellows strings which are located around or near the Haarlemmermeerpolder. On the maps below the locations of these 4 bellows are shown. The work consists mainly of: Locations Oude Wetering, Leimuiden and Lisse: a) Lifting out the steel bottom box structures. b) Inspecting the steel bottom box structures. c) Inspecting and cleaning the concrete foundation structure, underwater. d) Renovating and preserving the steel bottom box structures. e) Inspecting, repairing and improving the locking mechanism in the locking sleeve. f) Completely renewing the rubber fabric, seals and clamping structures. g) Completely renewing the electrical installation including process automation of bellows and marine control system. h) Completely renewing the pump installation. i) Performing repair of steel sheet piles and renovating and installing a number of bollards. Location of Aalsmeer: The same work as described above, on the understanding that no steel bottom box is present here now.
