As part of the Siemensbahn projects, the ESTW-A Westhafen at the ring of the Berlin S-Bahn is to be upgraded from Simis D to Simis C in order to provide sufficient capacity for the planned measures. Part of lot 1 of this award is the PT1 of the upgrade and the final state including an upstream conceptual planning phase. At km 1.6 of route 6022 is the interlocking boundary to the newly planned ESTW-A Gartenfeld. The PT1 of the final state of the ESTW-A garden field is part of Lot 2 of this award.
