Description

The heritage site Alden Biesen in Bilzen is of strategic importance for Flanders and requires a sustainable, future-oriented approach. An overarching plan is currently missing, leading to inefficiency in management and renovation. The aim of this project is to draw up a master plan for the next 10 to 15 years that respects heritage value, responds to contemporary comfort and energy issues and provides a structured investment and maintenance plan. In addition, the contract includes the study for a first sub-project: the exterior restoration of the water castle.
