Description

The stations of the terrestrial measuring system of HungaroMet Nonprofit Zrt. basically consist of 4 main units: • Measuring instruments that measure different meteorological status indicators. • Data acquisition and processing unit, the basic task of which is to communicate with the instruments, retrieve the measurement and status data of the instruments, record it on a data storage device, monitor it, and transmit the data through a communication device to the database established on the central server machine. • Communication tools for connecting the data logger and the central server and providing remote access. • Power supply, which provides the necessary power for the devices installed at the station. The data collector has complex functions in the system, since it must provide both hardware and software for data collection and storage, it must have adequate computational capacity for analysing data and status information, and it must be constructed from components designed for industrial use and adapted to the extremes of the environment. The aim is to purchase an industrial, robust device with communication interfaces and sufficiently large computing and storage capacity at low power consumption. The contractor shall be responsible for supplying the data logger and associated data logger and the associated means of communication (modem/router) complying with the quantitative and qualitative requirements set out in point II.2.4.
