Description

The stations of the surface measurement system of HungaroMet Nonprofit Zrt. consist of 4 main units: • Measuring instruments that measure different meteorological status indicators. • Data collection and processing unit, whose basic task is to communicate with the instruments, to retrieve the measurement and status data of the instruments, to record them on a data storage device, to monitor them, and to transmit the data via a communication device to the database established on the central server machine. • Communication tools to connect the data collection and central servers and provide remote access. • Power supply, which provides the power necessary for the operation of the devices installed in the station. The data collector has a complex function in the system, as it must ensure the possibility of data collection, its storage, both hardware and software, it must have adequate computational capacity to analyse data and status information, and it must also be made up of components designed for industrial use and adapted to the weather extremes of the environment. The aim is to acquire an industrial, robust device with interfaces for communication and sufficient computing and storage capacity at low power consumption. The supplier shall be responsible for supplying the data collection equipment and associated data collection equipment and the associated means of communication (modem/router) complying with the quantitative and qualitative specifications set out in point II.2.4).
