Description

The planned Bad Oldesloe Cultural and Education Centre (KUB) aims to create a public, multifunctional institution for culture, education, event and information.
The KUB will be used flexibly by a wide range of institutions, interested parties and visitors.
VHS, Music School, Klangstadt, Oldesloer Bühne, Stadtinfo, Altstadt e.V. offer multifaceted education/training and cultural programmes and events.
The multifunctional uses and offers will be complemented by additional, special events and catering.
For the planned Bad Oldesloe Cultural and Education Centre (KUB), the existing buildings will be local court and housed. Town hall extended to the newly built entrance hall, multifunction room and Oldesloer stage on the green parcel of parcel 202, plot 14.
Ht. Town hall:
In The town hall only provides for the necessary measures through the connection of the future KUB, fire protection measures and the construction of the winter garden.
Former District Court:
The former district court remains largely preserved in its building and building structure.
Fire protection measures, TGA measures, refurbishment and renovation measures are foreseen.
Entrance hall:
The new entrance hall uses the existing façade of the district court as a whole length as a rear wall and is constructed as a steel/glashallery with steel load-bearing structure.
Multifunctional room:
The multifunctional room will be built as a closed Kubus in StB construction.
Proportions and dimensions are based on the volume index and the rear wall is inclined to reflect the sound.
Oldesloer stage:
East of the Local Court also includes the Oldesloer Bühne with a sample, factory and children’s platform as a closed cubicle in StB.
