Description

The Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS) intends to redistribute the teaching materials "Social Policy" as an integral part of socio-political teaching at general and vocational schools. The central building blocks will be a magazine for pupils on "Social Policy" and an information portal. The platform is to be enhanced by various digital additions that arouse the interest of students and can be easily integrated into the teaching/learning plan.
The teaching materials and the Internet platform are intended to provide information on the various social security systems in Germany in a language that is appropriate for young people. Furthermore, young people should be prepared for the start of their careers and sensitized to the changes in society and the world of work. Pupils at general and vocational schools, special schools, young career starters and teachers are to be addressed.
