Description

The city of Altena suffered massive damage to urban infrastructure during the heavy rain and flood disaster in July 2021. As part of the emergency aid, some damage was provisionally repaired, but the urban area still needs large-scale restoration measures. As part of the reconstruction, the city of Altena receives financial resources from the federal government and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The owner is the city of Altena itself, which is also responsible for the tendering and implementation of the measures.
