Description

The contract concerns a competitive procedure with negotiation for the conclusion of a framework contract for the supply of medical displays including accessories. For UZ Gent, the purchase of medical screens can be framed as follows: • The gradual replacement of existing appliances. • Expansion of the existing number of devices, mainly due to an increase in the number of radiologists and further access within UZ. In addition, with this tender we aim to closely monitor the rapid evolution of display technology. This includes trends such as: • Working from home: The growing need for high-quality displays for radiologists and clinicians working remotely, with functionalities that ensure both diagnostic quality and ergonomic comfort. • Higher resolution: The continuous evolution towards screens with ever higher megapixel values, for an even more detailed display of medical images. • AI integration: The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into displays, to optimize image quality, improve workflows and possibly even provide diagnostic support.
