Description

The reduction of the vulnerability of buildings exposed to the risks of flooding and marine submersion is included in Guideline No 3 of the PAPI for the territory of Cap Excellence (Actions 5-1 and 5-2). It aims to: - Inform and raise awareness: On the knowledge of its exposure, its vulnerability and the limits of its building but also on the good behaviour to adopt through the establishment of a family safety plan. - Diagnose individually: Evaluate the level of risk and sensitive points for buildings and people; Formulate technical (equipment, works) and organisational recommendations (before, during and after the flood) adapted to the goods, people and level of exposure; Evaluate the cost of these measures and their economic relevance. - Assist in the preparation and technical, administrative and financial follow-up of the work: Propose financing solutions and accompany the preparation of related dossiers. - Identify severely damaged and/or exposed properties for which the relocation solution is more suitable: Link to the amicable acquisition policy.
