Description

The GLCT has carried out reflections in order to propose a future comprehensive service plan on the Annecy-Geneva corridor in order to optimise the transport offer and adapt it to the needs of users as best as possible, while integrating the new public transport infrastructure projects and all the other offers and opportunities present in the different territories. As a result of these considerations, the following offer scheme was proposed in order to study the arrangements for setting up a new attractive service adapted to the challenges facing the various regions on the Annecy-Geneva route: • An express offer between the urban part of the two agglomerations of Geneva and Annecy • An offer to strengthen local cross-border services in the French peri-urban area with a dedicated line via Archamps and Neydens from Cruseilles to Lancy Bachet station • An offer between the French municipalities taking over the function of the current omnibus services for internal travel within France between Annecy – Cruseilles and Saint-Julien-en-Genevois With this objective in mind, the GLCT therefore wishes to draw on the expertise and technical, legal and financial skills of a service provider or group of service providers to support it in this process.
