Description

This contract covers:
Equipment (hardware and software) of the public address system of the Grand Place de Bruxelles (purchase, supply, installation of equipment),
Creation of a specific control interface at the Grand-Place,
— The technical definition of the cabling plans, from the ‘control room’ to ‘roof boxes’ to the distribution systems,
— Putting the entire system into operation,
— Training in the use of the system.
The public address system of the Grand-Place consists of: 28 point and independent noise sources. The control system of the public address system is interfaced with the Grand-Place lighting control system.
The order contract included:
— Supply, specification and installation of control room equipment specific to the public address system,
— supply, specifications and installation of external public address equipment (excluding cabling between the control room and the roof boxes),
creation of a specific control interface at the Grand-Place,
— supply of cabling plans between “the control room” and the “building boxes”, as well as the validation of the installation of this wiring (installation by the installation contractor),
— supply of cabling plans between the ‘building boxes’ and the ‘roof boxes’, as well as the validation of the installation of this wiring (installation by the installation contractor),
— supply of cabling plans between the ‘roof boxes’ and the sources of sound diffusions, as well as the installation of this wiring,
putting the system into service until it is possible to steer the installed devices perfectly,
— Insertion in the system of the sound composition of the designer: general public address system for the Grand Place, music broadcasting and announcements,
— Insertion in the system of the sound composition of the designer: dynamic tables of the daily event (falling from night) synchronised with light,
— Training of imprest administrators (Sybelga) in launching pre-established programmes (level 1),
— Training of the imprest administrator (other Sybelga technician) in programming (insertion of programmes).
Each candidate responding to the invitation to tender must:
— describe the functional interconnection of the systems,
— describe the measures taken to ensure compatibility with the equipment chosen, the controllers, amplifiers and enclosures are of different brands,
— describe the working methodology for managing the project and relations with the project supervisor,
— describe the network proposed by a diagram specifying the type of cables and the number of relays, boosters or interfaces present outside the control room,
— describe its methodology for the development of the order interface specific to the Grand Place (references requested).
