This project concerns the development of smart bridge infrastructure to monitor the structural response of selected bridges, in the thirteen (13) Regions of the country, in real time through modern Structural Health Monitoring (RTSHM) systems and methodologies. Within the framework of the proposed project, each Region will be asked to propose and prioritise, depending on their degree of risk, the bridges of its competence that need to be monitored with regard to their static adequacy. More specifically, with this Framework Agreement, the Regions will be able to monitor critical parameters related to the structural health of 260 bridges under their responsibility through the supply and installation of IoT sensors, specialized software and controls.
