As part of the sustainability strategy of the NEW Group, NEW mobil und aktiv Mönchengladbach GmbH and NEW mobil und aktiv Viersen GmbH have decided to completely switch the entire bus fleet (231 buses in Mönchengladbach and 27 buses in Viersen) to alternative drives by 2030. The current strategy envisages advancing the switch to electric drives.
