Description

ABA (wastewater treatment plant) for the Dessau plant of DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung GmbH The DB FZI plant in Dessau operated an ultrafiltration plant for the treatment of washing and felt waste water from various washing and cleaning systems for electric traction vehicles and their components until 2023. Due to the age-related condition of the plant, it was decommissioned. The wastewater contains impurities typical of railway operations. These are mainly solid particles of external adhesions to locomotives as well as oils and greases, as they occur when washing roller bearings and transmission parts. In addition, there are used detergent residues and still reactive components. The weekly amount of wastewater is about 50 m ³. The new plants will be installed within the factory hall in the area of the previous water treatment. The delivery, commissioning, trial operation and final acceptance are to be completed by 30 June 2027.
