Die Metropolregion Rhine Ruhr begrüßt im Jahre 2025 rund 10.000 Athlet:innen aus etwa 170 Ländern. Die FISU World University Games sind eine der weltweit größten Multisportveranstaltungen und stellen die Olympischen Spiele für Student:innen während der akademischen Laufbahn dar. Ziel des vorliegenden Vergabeverfahrens ist der Abschluss von vier Rahmenvereinbarungen zur Lieferung und Errichtung von Veranstaltungstechnik unterschiedlichster Art, Ausführung und Größe. Die Bereitstellung umfasst eine vollumfängliche Planung vorab, die Lieferung, Montage, Betreuung, Demontage und den anschließenden Abtransport des Materials.
