Description

We ask for your offer to support data warehouse-based information management. A reporting package has been implemented for JAMK University of Applied Sciences, which utilises the centralised data warehouse as a basis for the reports. Data is transferred to the data warehouse from the source systems of finance, student administration and human resources management by using interfaces, file transfers and, in some cases, files maintained manually on a network disk. Data transferred to the data warehouse is processed and transferred as Azure Data Factory transfers to tables, on the basis of which several data models designed for different purposes are formed and uploaded to Power BI services for use in reports. The need for support will be twofold. On the other hand, we need a partner who constantly monitors the operations of the data warehouse and reacts promptly to possible disruptions. On the other hand, it is foreseeable that data sources will be added to the data warehouse, so support and know-how will be needed when the required workload in this respect is being projected. A framework contract of indefinite duration will be concluded with the selected supplier. The conditions for terminating the contract are set out in the draft contract. The procurement is not subdivided into lots, as the services being procured form a single technical and operational entity, the realisation of which requires a uniform division of responsibilities and seamless cooperation. On the basis of the market dialogue, there are enough bidders on the market capable of delivering the whole, so that non-division does not restrict competition. A more detailed description of the procurement is described in Appendix5-Procurement_description_Jamk_DW_maintenance_and_continuation development
