Description

This contract is a service contract for insurance services for the municipality of Eghezée. Quality of the tenderer: - This contract is reserved for insurance undertakings authorised by the Nationale Bank van België/Banque Nationale de Belgique. Insurance brokers and other intermediaries are excluded from this market. - In order to submit a valid tender, tenderers must be able to prove the existence of a place of business in Belgium. This contract is a global contract with no lots. In accordance with the second paragraph of Article 58(1) of the Law of 17 June 2016 on public contracts, the contracting authority considered dividing the contract into lots which could be awarded separately, and decided not to do so for the following reasons: - It is in the interest of the contracting authority to treat its entire insurance portfolio with one and the same company, which will have a global vision of the customer’s contracts and the means put in place or to be developed to meet all the needs - The contracting authority’s statistics will be analysed as a whole by the company, with a global vision of the claims, allowing in particular the implementation of prevention plans in connection with different branches - The members of the contracting authority’s staff responsible for insurance must be able to clearly identify the company’s customer manager and establish with that person a long-term global relationship, not broken down according to the type of risk - The procedures for managing claims, in particular IT, are easier for the contracting authority’s staff to know and apply if they are identical for all contracts - For all these reasons, the contracting authority will be able to save money in terms of communication with its insurer and training its staff. They concern the following classes of insurance: Accident insurance Strand I – Accident insurance at work and surplus-law for municipal staff and mayors and aldermen Strand II – Personal injury insurance for municipal councillors Strand I – General civil liability and legal protection Strand II – Civil liability and personal injury – Schools (including academies and ATL) Strand III – Objective civil liability in the event of fire and explosion Strand IV – Civil liability and legal protection for municipal representatives Strand V – Architectural civil liability and expert surveyors Motor insurance Strand I – Vehicle insurance Strand II – Omnium mission insurance Damage insurance Strand I – Fire insurance and related risks Strand II – Electronic/IT insurance Strand III – Insurance against all risks of musical instruments Strand IV – Insurance against all material risks including damage to machinery Strand V – Insurance against all risks of exhibitions and works of art Tenderers must ensure that they comply with the structure and content of the branches listed above. They shall clearly indicate in their tender, if any, any differences. Text automatically translated in your browsing language Automatically translated
