Egedal Municipality hereby offers a contract for the collection and transport of the recyclable waste fractions. The contract lasts for 6 years with the possibility of renewal on unchanged terms for up to 2 times 12 months. The contract shall enter into force on 1 October 2026 and shall expire without further notice on 30 September 2032. If Egedal Municipality makes use of the options, the contract will last for 8 years.The task includes the collection of recyclable waste fractions from all private households, municipal institutions and small businesses in Egedal Municipality. The task covers the collection of Plastic, Food and Beverage Cartons, Paper, Metal, Glass, PapEgedal Municipality is an elongated municipality of 126 km2 with approximately 19,500 households, of which approximately 860 are located in the rural zone. The municipality consists of several large or small urban communities and scattered settlements in rural and urban areas.The service currently includes:•Ca. 45,000 inhabitants•Ca. 13,000 households with individual scheme, of which about 860 rural properties•Ca. 2,400 households with joint waste solution (environment-island)•Ca. 4,400 households with joint waste solution. Buried cube in which only cardboard is emptied•Ca. 320 plots of cutlery•Ca. 120 municipal institutions•Ca. 100 small businessesThere are approximately 500 registered holiday homes in Egedal. The holiday homes are part of the approximately 13,000 households with individual schemes and the waste is collected as other households with individual schemes. There will be a few other addresses that have similar conditions as in the holiday home area. Municipal institutions include schools, children's houses, sports halls, cultural institutions, etc. With the adoption of the Regulation on commercial waste, Egedal Municipality has established a scheme for small businesses.
