Netherlands-The Hague: Waste disposal site construction work
The existing waste collection centre (ABS) at the Vissershavenstraat in Scheveningen no longer meets the legal requirements for odours and noise for a long time and should be closed. It was therefore decided to create a new ABS on the street de Uitenhagestraat.
The main tasks to be carried out by the successful tenderer are as follows: the design and implementation of a waste disposal station at the Departure street site. The waste collection station consists of a building with, inter alia, installations, a liquid-proof floor, an operator’s room, an elevated unloading platform, an entrance and exit for private individuals and for waste container lorries connected to the public space. Approximately 12 fractions are collected separately at the waste collection station. A number of installations are reused from the ABS Visserhaven Street. A number of installations have to be supplied and maintained in functional terms over a number of years.
