Description

The mechanical systems' maintenance services to be performed for C01 (Nuclear Decommissioning Unit) concern nuclear and conventional installations and laboratories (about 60 buildings) together with their related auxiliary equipment, all but a few of which are located in the nuclear areas ('classified areas' according to DL230) of the JRC Ispra site. The maintenance services concern principally systems, installations and distribution networks of fluids and gases (industrial water, chilled water and hot water for district heating, drinking water, firefighting installations, compressed air, vacuum systems, conventional and nuclear ventilation) and their components (pumps, valves, tanks, pipes, engines, ventilation machinery, air conditioners, etc.). The bulk of the service activity will concern planned (preventive) and/or extraordinary (corrective) maintenance carried out on-site. In conjunction with the latter, the requested services may also include detailed and executive design and, construction of new systems as an extension and/or substitution of an existing system/installation.
