Description

The Hanseatic city of Osterburg intends to expand the town hall on the historic site due to the merger into a unified municipality. With funds from the urban development funding, the existing building is to be converted into a new building and an existing building wing is to be modernised. To this end, the city, together with the refurbishment agency BIG Städtebau GmbH, launched a planning competition in accordance with the VgV and RPW, respectively, in order to take sufficient account of the special building cultural requirements in the urban planning sensitive situation.
