Description

Description of the service: The Haus der Photographie (Halle Süd) in the Deichtorhallen Hamburg is being fundamentally renovated and rebuilt. As part of the construction project, the outer wall components, including the load-bearing steel structure, will be completely renewed. As part of the interior design, the historic steel structure and the spatial quality of the hall will be preserved and the unique atmosphere will be used as an enrichment. The new installations consist of steel girder structures clad in drywall with Holorib composite ceilings and reinforced concrete stair structures. The loads of the new two-storey installations are established via steel supports and new micropiles. The partition walls in the basement are mainly made of masonry. The floors on the ground floor and the upper floor consist of a hollow floor construction.
