Description

1. The subject-matter of the contract is the supply of hardware together with the system software and with a guarantee and the provision of guarantee services as part of investment tasks: “Development and modernisation of CDM resources in Wrocław’s Network-Super Computer Centre of Wrocław University of Technology and modernisation of the resources of the Wrocław Academic Computer Network” – packages:
(1) delivery of discs to the HDS HUS-VM matrix held – package No 1,
(2) delivery of the access server to the users of the KDM WCSS Unit – Package 2,
(3) delivery of a matrix with SSDs to the KDM WCSS Unit – Package No 3,
(4) supply of components for Blade Fujitsu servers owned by the Contracting Authority – Package No 4,
(5) supply of blade servers and disk matrix shelves – package 5,
(6) delivery of virtual software licences and virtual archiving machines – Package 6
in accordance with the requirements set out in the GIP.
2. A detailed description of the subject-matter of the contract is set out in Annex 3.1-3.2 to the ToR.
3. The detailed scope of performance of the subject-matter of the contract is set out in the model contract, which constitutes Annex 2.1-2.3 of the ToR.
4. The tender must be unambiguous and comprehensive, i.e. cover the entire range of the subject-matter of the contract with the necessary hardware infrastructure. The subject-matter of the contract must be complete with all the sub-assemblies, lots and materials necessary for commissioning and use and must correspond to the content of the tender specifications. The subject of the contract offered must meet the requirements of the Contracting Authority. The contractor shall perform the subject-matter of the contract in accordance with the requirements of the Contracting Authority during the performance of the contract.
If the name of an item other than the one available on the market (which the Contracting Authority is able to confirm by any means available to the public (e.g. folders, catalogues, manufacturer’s websites), the Contractor must provide a description of the system offered, which will include a technical description of the system offered, specifying the equipment and software.
The equipment supplied must be new, free from legal and physical defects and will comply with the standards and applicable technical and operational requirements in force in Poland. The equipment and software supplied to the Contracting Authority and the materials used in the assembly works will come either directly from the manufacturer or from official and authorised distribution channels by the manufacturer and come from the manufacturer’s legal and official distribution channel.
5. The contracting authority authorises the submission of tenders equivalent to the trade marks, patents, standards, approval or origin, source or specific process which characterises the products or services supplied by a particular economic operator, if this could lead to the preferential treatment or elimination of certain economic operators or products, but the standards, parameters and standards of the equipment specified by the Contracting Authority listed in Annex 3.1-3.2 and the software intended to be compatible with those currently used by the contracting authority (specified in the GIP) must be complied with. The parameters of the subject-matter of the contract (including the duration of the guarantee and support) are the minimum technical and qualitative minimum expected by the Contracting Authority and will form the basis for the assessment of any equivalent tenders. Equivalent equipment or software offered by tenderers must have no lower parameters than those indicated in the description of the subject-matter of the contract. A contractor who invokes equivalent solutions described by the Contracting Authority must prove that the supplies it offers meet the requirements laid down by the Contracting Authority.
The contracting authority indicated the brands or trade names of the products in the description of the infrastructure held by the contracting authority. If the contracting authority has indicated brands or trade names in other cases, this specifies the class of the product to be procured and serves to establish the standard, without indicating a specific product or manufacturer. The original nomenclature or symbolic has been given in order to correctly define the subject-matter of the contract.
6.Before submitting his tender, the Contractor shall have the opportunity to carry out an on-site visit. Getting in touch on the vision: Paweł Dziekoński – 71/320-37-39 – Package 1-4. The cost of the on-site visit shall be borne by the Contractor.
7. The time limit for performance of the contract shall be:
— Package 1-4: up to 6 weeks;
— Package 5-6: up to 8 weeks.
