Description

The Land of Berlin intends to build a laboratory building in Berlin Dahlem for the Free University of Berlin.
The four-storey new building (supramolecular functional architectures on bioborder areas = SupraFAB) will have a base floor and a transition to the existing chemistry building.
New research will mainly include laboratory, large equipment and office areas.
It is intended to enable a modern, sustainable form of research. In addition, the criteria of efficiency, functionality, flexibility and quality of design must be taken into account. With regard to design, compliance with the high vibration freedom requirements of large equipment and laboratories should be noted as an important criterion for fitness for use.
