Description

The tenderer is responsible for the intervention and cleaning work in the event of water-related oil incidents within the port area of the port of Antwerp-Bruges, as well as for the disposal and treatment of the generated waste. This specification aligns with the mission and vision of the Antwerp-Bruges Port Authority, striving for a sustainable future. More concretely, business continuity and environmental care are spearheads for this specification. This translates into fast, qualitative and safe interventions, in which the generated waste is kept to a minimum. Knowledge and skills spread throughout the organization, combined with monitoring of its own operations and associated exercises are a basis for this qualitative approach. The tenderer will therefore operate according to a quality assurance system as further specified in the present specifications. The tenderer may at any time, 24/7, carry out two interventions at the same time with at least 1m3 of oil spilled per incident, in accordance with the requirements set out in the present specifications. Part of the mission is also to carry out intervention exercises on the basis of a number of standard incident scenarios and to determine standard working methods on the basis of the experience gained. These standard working methods will then be the guideline for an intervention. Text automatically translated in your browsing language Automatically translated
