Description

The hospital pharmacy is looking for an automated total solution for repackaging intramuros into scannable unit doses. The solution should improve operational efficiency within the pharmacy and ensure the safety of administration to the patient's bedside. This according to the guidelines of the Royal Decree of 30 September 2020: on the preparation and supply of medicinal products and the use and distribution of medical devices within nursing homes. The hospital is looking for a workable solution, which must meet the following conditions: repackaging into a unit dose with the necessary readable information, i.e. product name, dosage, form, lot number and expiry date and in addition a scannable code so that scanning in KWS is possible at the patient's bedside. It is important that the primary industrial packaging is preserved and not damaged. For example, work can be done in a non-classified room and additional infrastructural adjustments are not necessary for a PIC/s compliant repackaging. An overview of the range that we currently have in the hospital that we wish to repackage can be found in the excel appendix 'overview_to_repackage_shapes_sizes'. As many of these packagings as possible need to be reprocessed. The hospital expects a minimum of 4500 UDs per working day of 7.6 hours to be repackaged. Tenderers may offer a (combination of) existing repackaging appliances, being the basic solution in the tender specifications. Tenderers may also submit a customised design, which can be built after the award, within a reasonable period of time. A tailor-made design can be submitted as a variant where the submission of a basic solution is not mandatory. The pharmacy is looking for solutions that: - fit within the space provided in the pharmacy. - being able to repackage and, if necessary, also cut the widest possible range of comprehensive pharmacy products - ensuring maximum automation of the entire repackaging process, with minimal input or operator intervention. - make repackaged stock easy to count in the pharmacy at inventory counts Repackaged dosages must be easy to use at the bedside (smoothly scannable, product still easily recognizable, easy to deblist) The installation is delivered, placed, made operational and put into service by the contractor. The tenderer shall provide and maintain the necessary software. The necessary links with all individual devices are successfully executed and are functional upon delivery, i.e. both the hardware links and the software links with the software package of the hospital pharmacy. Definitions used in the tender specifications: UD = unit dose or unit dose Repacking = converting to a UD containing product name, dosage, form, lot number and expiry date. Definitions of the packages in the range can be found in the excel appendix 'overview_to_repackage_shapes_sizes'. Text automatically translated in your browsing language Automatically translated
