Project Container gantry crane with rotary trolley Location Emmelsum
The AG intends to build a gantry crane system at the Contargo Emmelsum terminal and is therefore issuing an invitation to tender. At the terminal of Contargo Rhein-Waal-Lippe GmbH in Emmelsum, one container - gantry crane is installed. The crane is used for the trimodal handling of containers between inland waterway vessels - storage area - trucks - trains. The load on the crane is to be assessed regularly and as high. The crane is specified as follows: • Container gantry crane 1 - factory number 833043 It is intended to extend the existing terminal by 130 m in expansion stage 1 and by a further 162 m crane runway length in expansion stage 2. With the expansion stage 1, it is planned to purchase a new container gantry crane. The new container gantry crane is to be adapted to the future handling performance and the crane surface to be covered. The container gantry crane 1 was put into operation on 12.07.2002. Between 07/2002 and 11/2012, the crane worked sporadically and was underutilised and most recently out of service. Recommissioning took place in 12/2012. In 2016, a first terminal repair was carried out in the existing dimensions. The crane runway foundation was renewed on land and the water-side and land-side crane runway beam was designed with a new AS86 crane rail and new rail fastening systems. The land-side crane track was designed to be traversable. On container gantry crane 1, the on-shore boom was extended and the cable towing system extended, as well as the crane wheels adapted to the new crane rail profile. In the further period of use, the portal traction drives were repaired in 2018 and fully modernised in 2021 with the associated control system adapted to operational requirements. Between 2016 and 2022, the crane 1 had more than 16,000 operating hours. The mileage is to be classified as high. Overall, it can be estimated that the container crane system1 is too low in terms of its steel construction classification and engine groups for the current and prospective container handling. In order to ensure the future increasing handling capacities in terminal operation with high availability and low maintenance costs, the replacement of a second container gantry crane system with higher technical parameters in terms of steel construction classification, engine group, speeds, land and water side projection and fault-proof control is required. The technical data of the new crane system must be carried out in accordance with current and future requirements for effective transhipment and terminal operation. Further information can be found in the list of services (Anlagenkonvolut 08). ATTENTION: Tender preparation is reserved for the subsequent negotiated procedure to which candidates must qualify in this competition. The processing of a list of services (Anlagenkonvolut 08) or the quality sheet (see in total the annexes to the LV – in Anlagenkonvolut 08) is therefore expressly not required in the competition. Both annexes and the comments under points 7.1 to 7.3 have a purely informational significance at this stage of the procedure. The draft contract (DPA) is still under preparation and will be made available to tenderers in the subsequent procedure immediately upon the start of the negotiated procedure. This draft contract, which contains market-based and balanced arrangements for cooperation between the contracting authority and the contractor, is to be negotiated with the tenderers in the subsequent negotiated procedure.
