The services will also include:
— the development of the access road, between the future regional branch and the passage under the bridge of France, reserved for vehicles entering and leaving the car park, technical and emergency vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists, in accordance with the conditions of the permit to be issued on the basis of an application submitted by the road management of the SPW,
— the development of the cycle/pedestrian passage under the future regional highway for a connection between the city centre and the future esplanade, in accordance with the conditions of the permit to be issued on the basis of the application submitted by the road management of the SPW.
This car park project is part of the mobility policy and more particularly of the city’s parking and accessibility policy.
This project also contributes to the redevelopment of the Confluence site, with four other projects introduced into the 2014-2020 ERDF programming through the project portfolio “Namur Innovative City Lab”. These four other projects are:
