Description

The Province of Flevoland has been an own risk carrier for the WGA since 2013. The purpose of this invitation to tender for Flevoland Province is to remain an own risk carrier for the statutory WGA benefits per 1.1.2020 and to transfer the entire financial risk of this to a private insurer through the conclusion of a contract with 1 party to insure the statutory WGA benefits to (ex) employees. This is subject to the proviso that private insurance is both financially and operationally a viable option. An evaluation of the bids on the basis of BPKV and a further analysis will have to show this.
