Description

Market analysis § 26 para. 2 SektVO for the provision of a mine and bomb density database for the German and Dutch North Sea TenneT is a leading European transmission system operator (TSO). We are committed to a safe and reliable power supply – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are helping to shape the energy transition – for a sustainable, reliable and affordable energy future. As the first cross-border transmission system operator, we plan, build and operate an almost 24,500 km long high-voltage and extra-high-voltage grid in the Netherlands and large parts of Germany, and contribute to the European energy market with our 16 interconnectors to neighbouring countries. Over long distances, our extra-high-voltage grid transmits electricity from the generators to the consumption centres. Its 220 and 380 kV lines are the backbone of our power supply. TenneT operates an efficient, state-of-the-art network that impresses with low transmission costs and high quality – onshore and offshore. To ensure that it has sufficient capacity today and in the future, we are continuing to expand the network. In this way, we ensure crucial requirements and the grid can reliably match supply with demand in the electricity market. We are also adapting the grid to changes in the energy market. We make it possible to connect energy from decentralised wind, solar and other energy plants to the grid. To prevent power outages, we are replacing old lines, laying new ones and building more substations. With expansions, modernizations and continuous maintenance, we develop an infrastructure that is up to its future tasks.
