Description

The project concerns the open source component "PGLite", a library version of PostgreSQL, one of the most used relational database management systems across all sectors. The services provided under this contract cover in several work packages the targeted analysis and technical improvement of existing functionalities of "PGLite“ as well as applying testing to allow more efficient performance that is consistent with the state of the art in this class of software, as well as better and easier use via more programming languages. Against this background, the project serves the public interest through the development and improvement of an opensource database technology that promotes innovation, interoperability, and broad accessibility.
