Description

The intention is to make the Recklinghaus Town Hall, which is under the protection of monuments, better use by the public in future. In parallel, the modernisation of essential components and all technical works will significantly improve the energy balance of the house in order to ensure the long-term economic operation of the house.
The funding measure now applied for is intended to ensure that full disability/accessibility is achieved throughout the building in order to improve its use in the future. In particular, building measures are planned for the town hall as a citizens’ meeting point:
Opening of the ‘Alten Mail Service’ in addition to the main entrance to the public (relief of the foyer), thereby making it easier to display in the foyer, upgrading the civil service situation, separate toilet facilities for staff/visitors, use of the roof floor and for the general public.
Building measures are planned to ensure full accessibility, in particular:
Extension of the existing elevator system over all floors/indoor floors, optical and acoustic control system, creation of disability toilets, including wrapped on all floors.
In particular, the modernisation of the house necessitates the following building measures, particularly with a view to improving energy efficiency:
Replacement of all windows with the latest heatproof glazing, replacement of heat distribution and heat transfer, replacement of sanitary pipes, replacement of electrical and secondary distribution, LED lighting, removal of cooling bridges, e.g.: Window niche measures on the existing building fabric (the protected façade and interior finishing).
Thermal insulation of the upper floor ceiling, optimisation of fire protection.
Preparatory actions and accompanying project governance measures (organisation, qualities and quantities, costs and funding, dates, capacity and logistics). In particular, checking the existing basis for planning needs for completeness and plausibility is a priority.
