Description

Development of a concept for the control of the rainwater pipeline in the Hanseatic city of Seehausen. This implies the surveying and canal handling, the hydraulic design of the existing system, as well as flood and heavy rain prevention. Surveying and channel operation: o Determination of the condition of the rainwater channels and the shafts o Recording of the position and height of the shafts as well as the connection heights and dimensions for the subsequent services o Data transfer from the canal operation is carried out in exchange formats for evaluation in a canal register software - Assessment of the condition and final evaluation of the data to determine damage classes Hydraulic design of the existing systems: o Calculation of the grid on the basis of the survey after a reasonable determination of the catchment areas o The result is the necessary measures in the re-dimensioning of rainwater channels Flood and heavy rain prevention: o On the basis of the developed data, variants for flood protection and rainwater retention are developed o For example, the rainwater should be retained before discharge into water bodies o Possible reduction of drinking water consumption by using the stored precipitation water
